EHS & Construction Project Lead

In this multifunctional position, you will ensure compliance with safety regulations, lead risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will also supervise construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

• Act as a technical safety expert, improving procedures such as permit-to-work, working at heights, and lifting operations.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and safety training.
• Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans, permits, and legal standards.
• Monitor project quality and progress, resolving on-site issues.
• Lead incident investigations and promote a safety-first culture.

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in construction management or civil engineering.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and local safety regulations.
• Experience managing complex projects in dynamic environments.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Relevant safety certification (e.g., MVK) preferred.
