Stores Operative – Wigston – Permanent – Up to £13.67 per hour – Full Time (Monday to Friday, early finish on Friday)

Are you hands on, practical and happiest when you are busy? We are supporting a well‑established Wigston based business in their search for a reliable Stores Operative to join their warehouse team.

This Stores Operative role is varied and active, perfect for someone who enjoys being on their feet and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly behind the scenes.

As a Stores Operative, you will be responsible for picking stock accurately and preparing orders for dispatch. You will load outgoing deliveries, complete the relevant paperwork and input data onto internal systems. Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and tidy will also be a key part of your day‑to‑day duties.

• Picking and preparing stock for customer orders
• Loading goods ready for dispatch
• Completing delivery paperwork and updating systems accurately
• Driving the company vehicle when required
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

• A full, clean driving licence
• A valid Counterbalance forklift licence and practical experience – this would be an advantage
• Confidence working at heights of up to 3 metres
• Good attention to detail
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Basic IT skills for data entry and record keeping
• A positive, team‑focused attitude
