About the Role

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-organised warehouse operation. This role is hands-on and suits someone who works accurately, follows procedures, and takes pride in keeping a warehouse running properly.

Key Responsibilities

Unload inbound deliveries and move stock to designated storage areas

Stack and store products safely and efficiently

Pick, check, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Use barcode scanners to pick orders and manage inventory correctly

Meet picking and dispatch targets while maintaining quality standards

Assist with stock checks and physical inventories, ensuring correct stock rotation

Inspect inbound and outbound goods and report any damage or discrepancies

Operate forklift trucks safely and in line with company procedures

Follow all health, safety, and security policies at all times

Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working environment

Carry out general warehouse duties as required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

Ability to work well as part of a team and manage time effectively

Experience using barcode scanners and inventory systems

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)

Valid Bendi (Flexi) Forklift Truck Licence (desirable)

Awareness of ISO 9001 quality standards

A reliable, safety-focused, and proactive attitude

Additional Requirements

Due to this being an HMRC-approved premises, and in line with industry accreditation requirements, successful candidates must be willing to complete:

A 5-year employment and address history check

A DBS check
