HGV Class 1 Driver – Leicester

Location: DHL, Meridian Business Park, Leicester
Salary: £42,891.08 per year (£17.18 an hour
)
➕ Shift Premiums: 10% (4pm–10pm), 20% (10pm–6am)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Working Days

• Week 1 : 4 Days On
• Week 2 : 4 Days On
• Week 3 : 5 Days On

(17-week rotation)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business are seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Experienced flexible Class 1 Drivers to carry a mixture of products along with store drops between 2-3 per shift in general from our site in Leicester
• Deliveries are palletised and you will be provided with an electric pump truck
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• 1 years experience of Class 1 HGV driving is essential for this role
