Job description:

The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well respected client based in the Leicester area.

We're looking a HGV Class 2 Driver with ADR qualification (2 in packages) to complement their operation working approx. 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with start time of 07:00.

Delivering gas canisters to business and private addresses across the Leicestershire area, drivers will need a level of physical fitness as they will be expected to off load bottles.

This is a long-term vacancy with a view to go permanent with a salary of £42k

• Shift start is 07:00am
• Monday to Friday
• Average shifts are 9 hours per day

• A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A valid ADR qualification Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

• Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues
• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
• Use GPS or maps to find the best routes
• Load and unload items carefully to avoid damage
• Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct address
• Communicate politely with customers
• Report delays, accidents, or problems to your manager
