Pay: £13.87 per hour.

Hours:

8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week) Breaks: 2 x 15 minutes & 1 x 30 minutes (unpaid)

Full time Monday–Friday

DC Personnel are recruiting for an experienced an accredited Reach truck driver for a long-established national distribution business based in the LE3 area of Leicester.

The employer operates within the commercial and industrial supply sector. They distribute mechanical and technical products including pipework, valves and fittings. The company is known for job stability, strong stock levels and long-term staff retention.

This role is primarily focused on forklift operation available for suitably qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a reach truck to move materials around the warehouse/factory

Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch

Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock checks

Ensure goods are stored in the correct locations

Report any equipment faults, accidents, or hazards to supervisors

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety standards

Requirements of the Role:

Valid reach truck licence / certification

Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Good understanding of health and safety practices

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and long periods on the truck

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock
