Software Developer - IDMS - Tax - Contract

Hiring for an experienced Software Developer / Engineer to join the Tax Admin team, supporting critical enterprise tax systems. This role requires strong technical expertise across legacy and client-server technologies, with a focus on stability, enhancement, and continuous improvement of live services.

• Design, develop and maintain PL/SQL and CA Gen applications
• Support deployment activities and Implementation Management
• Manage clone activities including restores, robotics coordination, testing, and patch upgrades
• Troubleshoot performance issues and provide technical support
• Collaborate across incident, problem, and continuous improvement forums
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practice
• Drive batch performance improvements and reduce failure rates
• Support audit and Disaster Recovery requirements
• Provide occasional out-of-hours support for batch failures and live releases

• Strong experience with CA Gen, Tuxedo, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Unix
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and stakeholder teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
