Senior Java Developer - Quant Trading Firm - London - Up to £130k + bonus
Durlston Partners is working with a leading Quant Trading firm that is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team.
You’ll work closely with traders and quants to design and build low‑latency trading platforms. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll develop high-throughput systems, optimise performance, and solve complex engineering challenges in a fast‑paced financial environment.
What You’ll Do- Design and build low‑latency Java trading systems and execution platforms.
- Optimise code for high throughput and minimal latency.
- Enhance market connectivity and order management systems.
- Ensure system reliability through rigorous testing and monitoring.
- Strong academic background in Comp Sci or Engineering.
- Proven experience in Financial Services (Tier 1 Investment Bank or Buy‑Side).
- Expert‑level Java skills (concurrency, multithreading).
- Experience with low‑latency systems or electronic trading.
