YMCA Cornwall in Penzance is looking for a Housing Support Officer to join our dedicated team. This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to be a turning point in a young person’s life.

• Empower vulnerable young people (aged 16-24) to secure and maintain stable housing.
• Guide them towards independence by helping with finances, tenancy agreements, and finding long-term accommodation.
• Work as part of a supportive team, providing one-on-one help and connecting young residents with vital resources.
• This role can be challenging, but it’s incredibly rewarding. You’ll be a key part of our residents’ journey, providing the structure and support they need to succeed.
• We’re looking for someone who is resilient, compassionate, and ready to make a tangible impact.
• Hours: 28 hours per week on a shift pattern including evenings and weekends.
• Pro-Rata salary £20,336.61 – £21,598.65 (subject to performance and annual review.)
