Located in Syston
, you will manage cases across Coventry and work in a hybrid setting with office and home base and visits to foster carers.

• Ensure a reflective and creative approach when working with foster carers and young people to support their growth.
• Manage an average caseload of 13–15 fostering families, providing guidance and support.
• Participate in the out‑of‑hours on‑call service to offer wrap‑around support to carers.
• Contribute actively to the development of the fostering service and organisational improvement.
• Make objective professional assessments of children and young people.

• Relevant professional qualification in Social Work.
• Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
• Experience in a fostering‑related social work role or child social care (e.g., look‑after children’s team).
• Demonstrated ability to identify the needs of young people.
• Good knowledge of fostering regulations, childcare law and safeguarding issues.
• Valid driving licence and access to a car.
• Accurate reference and DBS check successful completion.
