Agency Social Worker - Reablement Team - Leicester City Council

Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its Reablement social work team.

This is a 12-month agency post, paid at £34 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

• To work in Reablement Social Work Team (adult social care)
• To work with safeguarding, self-neglect, those that hoard etc.
• We ask for 2 days in the office, the rest can be worked from home.
• Social worker needs to be local enough to visit people in their own homes in Leicester, as well as visit hospital sites in Leicester if needed and some of our Discharge to Assess offers in the City.
• Visits completed throughout the week as required depending on caseload.

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• Must have significant experience working within Adult Social Care
• Must have experience in this area and be able to work at a fast pace due to the short term nature of the work and quick turn-around required.
