£18 per hr

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction, maintenance, and renovation projects. Duties

• Assisting with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials
• Preparing sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety measures are in place
• Operating basic tools and equipment under supervision
• Assisting tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with their tasks
• Carrying out manual labour including lifting, digging, and moving materials
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Following health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a secure working environment

Skills

• Proven experience as a Labourer or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry
• Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery safely
• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential; willingness to travel between sites is required
