Roofer

Join a well established building contractor in Leicester as a Roofer on a long‑term, self‑employed contract.

This opportunity is with a respected and established building contractor within the housing sector. You'll be part of a company that values high‑quality work and supports ongoing growth in a stable, full‑time environment.

We're looking for candidates with experience in general building trades, including Carpenter, Joiner, or General Builder.

• Identifying and rectifying roofing defects
• Surveying and correctly placing slates/tiles in isolated patches
• Removing old roof coverings and replacing full covering to all styles of roofs
• Re‑bedding and renewing hip and ridge tiles
• Point, repair, rebuild chimney stacks and re‑bed/ renew chimney pots
• Repair mineral felt and asphalt flat roof covering

• Their own van
• Their own tools
• A valid CSCS card
• A background in roofing or multiple trades

• Fuel allowance
• Weekly pay (CIS or PAYE payments available)
• 40‑hour working week with overtime options
• ASAP start
• Long term

Location & travel:
This role requires travel in and around Leicester.
