Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer - East Midlands
East Midlands - up to 40K (but can be flexible) - D2D Travel + Regular overtime opportunities.
My client is a long-established commercial refrigeration specialist looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer to strengthen our service team. This is a key role within the business, offering stability, technical challenge, and strong support.
This position is suited to a true commercial refrigeration engineer with strong fault-finding ability and experience working on complex refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdowns and fault diagnosis
- Servicing of commercial refrigeration systems
- Main area of coverage working across the East Midlands.
- Strong experience with multi-compressor packs
- RDM controls knowledge essential
- Minimum 7 years' experience in commercial refrigeration
- F-Gas certified (CO₂ experience desirable)
- Confident working independently on service and diagnostics
- £38,000 - £40,000 basic salary (some flexibility for right candidate)
- Door-to-door travel (40-hour week)
- Enhanced regular overtime opportunities
- Van & Fuel Card
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Overtime-to-holiday accrual scheme (paid annually on top of basic)
- Pension scheme
- Call-out rota: 1 in 7 weekends with standby payments
