A medium-sized Civil Engineering company based in Leicester, known for delivering high-quality projects across the region. Due to continued growth, They are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join the team.

The Role:

As a Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, and excavators. This is a varied role with a 50/50 split between working in our Leicester workshop and providing mobile support to our sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery.
Conduct regular servicing and inspections to ensure equipment is safe and reliable.
Respond to breakdowns both in the workshop and on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for our operations.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure all machinery is fit for purpose.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience working with heavy plant machinery.
Strong knowledge of diggers, dumpers, excavators, and other plant equipment.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively between workshop and mobile duties.
Full UK driving license (essential for the mobile aspect of the role).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a :
