Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter Package Overview:

• Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 5:00pm
• £38,000 – £43,000 Basic Salary (depending on experience)

Our client, a well-established civil engineering company based in Leicester, are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter to join their highly valued team on a full-time permanent basis.
With an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the region, this company continues to grow and invest in their people and fleet. Due to continued success, they now have an urgent requirement for a skilled fitter who can hit the ground running.
You will be working in a mobile role, carrying out service, maintenance and breakdown repairs on a wide range of heavy plant machinery to ensure the fleet remains safe, reliable and fully operational.
Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter

Role and Responsibilities:

• Service, diagnose and repair a wide range of heavy plant and machinery

• Work on equipment including excavators, diggers, dumpers and similar plant

• Attend breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance on-site

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations

• Complete job reports and maintain accurate service records

• Take responsibility for the quality of work delivered in the field
Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter / Engineer (Essential)

• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge (electrical skills an advantage)

• Experience working on construction plant equipment such as excavators, dumpers and diggers

• Full UK driving licence (Essential)

• Ability to work independently in a mobile role

• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent preferred

• A positive attitude with the ability to self-motivate
