Retail Security Officer role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Pay: £12.48 per hour.

Hours:

15 per week.

Preferred days:
Tuesday & Sunday.

• Protect customer property, people and assets in accordance with Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements and support contract retention.
• Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self‑development.

• Ensure compliance with all policies, legal andاد regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Fully complete all tasks and duties on site as outlined in the AI’s.
• Review AI’s proactively and suggest amendments to improve service standards.
• Maintain a front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence at all times.
• Comply with safety requirements and follow instructions without unnecessarily challenging authority.
• Work methodically and orderly.

• Complete all required competency training.

• Undertake additional training as directed.
• Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop expertise.
• Ensure licence renewal 16 weeks before expiry.

• Identify and report Health & Safety hazards immediately.
• Stay اما alert to threats or changes in the environment and take appropriate action.
• Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations.
• Record incidents accurately in the notebook for the Incident Report process.
• Adhere to scheduled duties and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
• Ensure check calls are carried out on time as per AI’s.
• Call emergency services and the Communications Centre to report incidents.

• Previous security experience.
• SIA Licence.
• SC Clearance desirable.
