You’ll focus on learning how to win new business and build B2B relationships, with guidance from an experienced team.

DC Personnel is a people‑focused recruitment business based in Leicester. We specialise in Industrial, Engineering, and Commercial recruitment, partnering with businesses to deliver long‑term hiring solutions.

This is a trainee, sales‑led position designed to develop you into a successful Business Development Consultant.

You’ll be trained to introduce DC Personnel to new businesses, build relationships with clients, and support commercial conversations with decision‑makers.

• Learning how to generate new business through outbound B2B sales
• Speaking with potential clients and introducing DC Personnel’s services
• Supporting and attending client meetings with experienced consultants
• Building confidence in sales conversations and negotiations
• Developing long‑term client relationships and repeat business
• Managing and updating CRM records
• Growing your sales pipeline with ongoing support and coaching

• A confident, positive communicator
• Motivation to succeed in a sales‑focused role
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop new skills
• Resilient, target‑driven mindset
• Any previous sales or customer‑facing experience is helpful but not essential
• Recruitment experience not required; full training provided
• Full UK driving licence (for client meetings)

• Up to £26,000 per annum basic salary + uncapped commission
