We are recruiting an experienced Energy Consultant to join a highly reputable and well-established energy brokerage based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven energy sales professional to join a business that genuinely values its people, prioritises wellbeing, and offers a supportive, high-performance company culture.
This role is ideal for someone currently working within an energy brokerage or energy supplier who is confident managing the full sales cycle and delivering tailored energy solutions to business clients.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively generate and manage B2B energy sales opportunities
- Consult with business customers to understand their energy requirements
- Provide tailored gas and electricity procurement solutions
- Negotiate and secure competitive contracts with suppliers
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships
- Accurately manage pipelines and customer data using CRM systems
- Stay informed on market trends, pricing and regulatory changes
- Deliver excellent customer service while consistently meeting and exceeding targets
- Proven sales experience within the energy sector is essential
- This may be from an energy brokerage or directly with an energy supplier
- Strong understanding of business gas and electricity procurement
- Confident, consultative sales approach
- Proven ability to close deals and work to targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Professional, driven and results-focused mindset
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Competitive basic salary of £25,000 – £30,000
- Uncapped commission with realistic OTE upwards of £80,000
- Monday to Friday working hours (no weekends)
