OverviewThis role focuses on developing a commercially successful product range by building strong relationships with suppliers and analysing data to plan across all categories. Collaboration with designers and merchandisers is key to this process.
Responsibilities- Develop a commercially successful product range by building strong supplier relationships and analysing data to plan across all categories.
- Collaborate with designers and merchandisers to assemble stylish new collections for every season.
- Utilise specialist functions like product technology and sourcing to create outstanding products.
- Work closely with the e-commerce team to optimise online sales through tone of voice, imagery and other tools.
- Liaise with the Marketing team for campaigns and e-commerce shoots within department budgets.
- Manage the critical path for product development and selection; swiftly identify new product opportunities.
- Provide effective team management, resource delegation and motivation as part of success criteria.
- Travel frequently to source the best products and prices, with regular sign-off on ranges.
- Ability to manage multiple product ranges effectively with a clear understanding of brand DNA.
- Experience as a buyer with strong analytical and planning skills.
- Ability to identify the latest trends for Womenswear Non Clothing and understand market competition.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and a proven track record in identifying opportunities to streamline the critical path and trade ranges in-season.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Enthusiastic attitude and a team-player mindset.
