This 24-Hour Hospital is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art site that opened in April 2024. They offer an exceptional clinical environment, featuring a brand-new ultrasound machine, comprehensive orthopaedic equipment, digital and dental X-ray suites, endoscopy, a tonometer, and all the facilities expected of a modern emergency and critical care hospital.
Role and rotaThe hospital is seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to work a 7-on, 21-off rota, an attractive working pattern for those looking for predictable part-time hours and extended time off between shifts. This rota provides the flexibility to pursue travel, personal projects, or extended breaks, while still maintaining a stable and rewarding career in emergency and critical care.
This is a sole-charge night position, offering exposure to a wide variety of emergency and critical care cases. The role requires strong all-round medical and surgical skills and provides a high level of clinical autonomy, professional satisfaction, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact during critical moments of patient care.
Salary and benefitsThe prorated salary is based on an average of 24.5 hours per week, with earnings of up to £45,937.50 per year, equivalent to a full-time salary of £75,000.
