Finished Goods WH Operative

We are looking for FLT Drivers with Counterbalance to work for our Client based in Hamilton, Leicester. They are a multinational company with sites in Leicester and Rothley and are passionate about the future of our planet. The role of the FLT Driver with Counterbalance is a temp to perm role. Pay for the FLT Driver - temp to perm

£12.37 per hour

Hours /

Shifts:

6am to 2pm or 7am to 3pm (two different shifts)

Monday to Friday

• Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment such as reel clamps and PPTs.
• Move the pallets around the facility and stow them in the correct storage bays, ensuring space optimisation.
• Manage the warehouse operations in line with the system requirements and work instructions.
• In compliance with the loading schedule, prepare the loading area, ensuring the load is correct, and documentation is signed.
• Load trucks if and when required.
• Perform daily equipment checks, identifying and reporting any damages and faults to maintain daily functioning.
• Ensure that all required documentation is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Observe the products to identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies.
• Carry out periodic stocktaking activities and any other reasonable requests.
• Work closely and in cooperation with the Day services and Shift teams, supporting colleagues throughout.
• Continually ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained throughout all working areas.
• Ensure Health & Safety rules are always adhered to by yourself and others.

• Must haveprior experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Must hold avalid FLT Counterbalance Licence
• Show attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
