Mig Welder

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who takes pride in delivering high‑quality workmanship and maintaining high safety standards.

• Weld high-quality components, including setting up and operating a range of tooling and machinery (e.g., TIG, MIG welders, punches, and associated equipment)
• Prepare, clean, cut, burn, and weld components in line with specifications
• Set up, measure, and assemble parts, selecting the appropriate welding methods
• Accurately read and interpret welding drawings and technical specifications
• Complete work documentation and maintain accurate production records
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety procedures and legal regulations
• Ensure equipment is used correctly by following operating instructions
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance where required
• Meet quality targets and consistently maintain high workmanship standards

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ, Indentured Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a similar welding role
• Recognized welding qualification desirable
• Strong numeracy skills
• Essential:
  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Must have their own mask and safety boots
