Production Operative - Leicester

Join a leading UK manufacturer of high‑performance composite materials. You'll be part of a busy, supportive production team creating products used across automotive, aerospace, marine and other high‑tech industries. If you enjoy hands‑on work, teamwork and learning new skills, this role is for you.
Pay & Shifts
£12.21 per hour for first 8 hours
Time + 1/3 for the remaining hours
£15 daily shift allowance (avg £14.71 per hour)
12‑hour shifts, 4 on / 4 off
Rotating Days (06:00-18:00) and Nights (18:00-06:00)
Must be able to work both-no fixed shifts
What You'll Do
Operate automated & manual machinery (full training provided)
Work on raw materials lines and complete finishing processes
Carry out quality checks and follow production schedules
Use computer systems for stock checks & data entry
Keep accurate records for audits
Move materials using pump trucks/overhead cranes
General housekeeping & basic maintenance
Report any issues to your Line Manager
What You Need
Basic literacy, numeracy & computer skills
Manufacturing or warehouse experience
Ability to work 12‑hour rotating day/night shifts
Reliable travel for 6am starts
