We are currently supporting our client based in Leicester, LE4 to recruit an Assembly Operative.

This is a temp to perm opportunity, with a permanent contract being offered after a success 13 week period.

This is an opportunity to work for a very established engineering company, who pride themselves on high quality production and manufacture of their products.

The role is assemble products to a high standard.

Days & Hours of Work:
Monday – Thursday 06:00am – 14:30pm
Friday 06:00am – 11:30am

37.5hrs per week

Rate of Pay: £13.00 Per Hour

The Role:

Assemble products or components according to the technical drawings, work instructions, or specifications (SOPs)
Perform repetitive tasks to assemble components or products at respective workstations
Operative hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and effectively
Inspect the finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain a clean and organised work space
Report any faults to supervisors promptly
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production KPI targets

About You:

Previous experience in manufacturing or an assembly environment
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret technical documents or diagrams
Excellent level of written and spoken English
Computer literate
Hard-working and reliable
Able to work as part of a team
Willingness to adapt and learn new processes
