We are hiring a Press Brake Operative

We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join a well-established sheet metal manufacturing company based in Leicester. This role is within a busy but well-organised fabrication environment, where quality and accuracy are key. You will play an important part in ensuring components are produced to specification and delivered on time.

Duties of a Press Brake Operative

Working within the fabrication / sheet metal team, your responsibilities will include:

Operating CNC press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Setting and adjusting press brake machines where required

Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet specifications

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Skills and Experience Required

As a Press Brake Operative, you should have experience with:

Operating press brake machines (CNC preferred)

Working with sheet metal in a manufacturing or fabrication setting

It would also be beneficial if you have:

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills, both written and verbal English

Reliable transport to and from the Leicester site
