Job Title: NDT Level 2 TechnicianLocation: Leicester Area Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm, Friday 6:00am-11:30am (37.5 hours per week)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician to join our client's quality team at a leading aerospace manufacturing facility. This is a long-term opportunity offering career progression, structured development, and the chance to work in a cutting-edge aerospace environment.

The role involves supporting NDT inspection and laboratory activities. You will be an integral part of a team that focuses on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to Level 2 standards
  • Read, analyse, and interpret technical procedures and engineering drawings
  • Use a variety of measurement equipment, both conventional and SMART
  • Solve practical problems within the NDT area and maintain high-quality standards
  • Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained
  • Pass Jaeger J1, Curpax J2, and Ishihara tests
Required Experience:
  • Level 2 NDT certification in FPI and MPI (or FPI with strong MPI experience)
  • Relevant EN4179 experience or qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an NDT role
  • Aerospace experience advantageous
Salary Package:
  • £19.59 per hour Including 17.5% shift allowance
