We are recruiting on behalf of a UK leading casting manufacturer, based in leicester, LE4.

We are looking for a hardworking individual to join there team.

The role cover two main parts of their operation. You will be preparing the casting moulds, by removing them from furnaces to the preparation stations. You will also be responsible for using a cutting machine to cut the moulds.

You will be responsible for completing production cards accurately and ensure jobs are done in a timely manner, and ensuring quality checking throughout your processes.

Days & Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday  07:30am – 16:30pm
Friday 07:30am – 12:30pm

Rate of Pay:  £12.32 Per Hour

* The Role

Preparation of moulds for casting.
Produce cast metal products.
Remove metal from castings.
Accurately complete Production Cards accompanying each job, clearly identifying scrap or non-conformities.
Maintain and operate machinery and equipment in correct and safe manner, in line with operating procedures.
Carryout daily general housekeeping and cleanliness of the department, ensuring all equipment, tools and materials are in a secure and safe condition.
Requirements

Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as successfully within a team.
Good understanding of Health & Safety at Work regulations.
Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
Previous experience working in a Manufacturing foundry environment.
