Job Title: Door Finisher
Location: Leicester
Shift: 7am to 4pm Mon to Thu / 7am to 12pm on Fri
Pay Rate: 13.00 - 14.00 depending on experience

We are a well-established specialist manufacturer of bespoke internal and external solid core timber doors and joinery solutions.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Door Finisher to join the workshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship and understands the importance of detail in high-end timber products.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand and machine sanding of timber doors to a high finish
• Carrying out basic joinery work to ensure components fit correctly
• Fitting ironmongery, including handles, hinges, locks, and other hardware
• Checking finished doors for quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Working from job sheets and drawings to meet bespoke customer specifications
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Supporting other areas of the workshop when required

About You

• Proven experience as a Door Finisher, Bench Joiner, or Joinery Operative
• Strong sanding and finishing skills on solid timber doors
• Experience fitting door hardware and ironmongery
• Good understanding of timber, grain, and finishing standards
• High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
