MIG Welder/Fabricator £15.90 per hour 40-hour day shift 4 day working week Great working environment Great company culture Progression opportunities Potential for overtime Working for a specialist engineering company based in Bacup, specialists in sheet-metal fabrication and specialist welding. Due to an expanding order book my client is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricators. The Job Carrying out gas metal arc welding (GMAW), to manufacture items and components Cutting materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thicknesses Welding or joining metal and other materials into a wide range of structures Following engineering plans, drawings and instructions Using computer programmes to design structures Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment Inspecting and testing welds with precision measuring instruments Dismantling metal structures Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas Wearing safety clothing and using protective equipment Working within a workshop.
About you MIG Welding Confident in reading basic fabrication drawings Reliable and Punctual with a strong work ethic
