North Yorkshire Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours:

Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm / Friday 8:00am-1:00pm (39 hours) Job Type: Permanent, Days We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer that designs and produces complex components for highly regulated industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and forward-thinking business working on technically challenging projects.

The Role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving production processes, supporting new product introductions and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimise manufacturing processes Create and maintain work instructions, build manuals and process documentation Provide hands-on technical support on the shop floor Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and support first-off builds Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency and reduce waste Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions Work closely with design teams to ensure manufacturability Support quality inspections, audits and root cause analysis Assist with tooling design and process development (moulds, jigs, fixtures) Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards Experience &

Skills Required:

Experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment Background in process improvement and NPI Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable working in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Package:
