Our client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke mechanical machinery, operating at the forefront of engineering innovation. They are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to assemble high-quality, custom-built machines to exacting standards. This role suits a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working from drawings, and contributing to continuous improvement in a non-production-line environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical machinery in line with engineering drawings, specifications, and build sheets.
• Complete full machine builds using all supplied components, ensuring products are fully finished and quality assured.
• Identify drawing, BOM, or design issues and raise Engineering Change Reports (ECRs) and non-conformance reports as required.
• Modify and manufacture bespoke parts in the machine shop where necessary, following safety procedures.
• Work closely with design, quality, production, installation, and commissioning teams.
• Accurately record build times, progress, and notes using factory systems and build sheets.
