HSEQ Manager - Nationwide

Were recruiting for an experienced HSEQ Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering industrial and logistics construction projects across the UK. The business is based in Leicestershire, with this HSEQ Manager role anchored there and involving regular travel to live sites nationwide so travel must be an accepted part of the role.

Reporting directly into a Senior HSEQ Manager, this is a true management role, not an advisory position. The successful HSEQ Manager will be a visible, credible leader who can set standards, drive compliance, and lead from the front across multiple projects.

The role requires a technically strong HSEQ Manager with a deep understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality systems within a construction environment. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust management systems, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring best practice is embedded on site and at operational level.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a HSEQ management role (not advisory)
• Strong background in industrial / logistics or complex construction projects
• NEBOSH qualified (Construction preferred)
• Working knowledge and hands‑on experience with ISO management systems, including:
• ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
• ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
• ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
• ISO 42001 (AI Management Systems desirable)
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence site management, and hold senior stakeholders to account
• Willingness to travel regularly to nationwide sites from the Leicestershire base
