Strategic Lead - Integrated Lifestyle

This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering Integrated Lifestyle and Public Health prevention initiatives. The post holder will lead the development of strategic approaches that influence both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader system priorities.

In addition to corporate responsibilities, the role oversees the direction and integration of multiple operational teams and programmes. It requires expert knowledge of behaviour change methodologies, leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, alongside strong leadership in managing a diverse portfolio which subject to varied reporting and regulatory frameworks.

As part of the Senior Leadership structure, the post holder will contribute to a wide range of cross-cutting work streams, driving innovation, collaboration, and service excellence.

To be part of the Public Health provider arm management team and input intoother areas of delivered services when appropriate.

Planning and driving forward training and partnership events alongside other opportunities to maximise any contact with partners to promote the servicespositively.

To ensure that systems and processes are regularly reviewed to ensure thatsensitive customer data is always secured.

To performance manage using credible and reliable intelligence data to informand support effective management, service delivery and monitoring; feed intostatutory reporting and identify any areas of concern.

Ensure clear and regular reporting is established for the services ensuringoutcomes identified in the service specification are being achieved.

To effectively represent and maintain the profile of the service by playing anactive role in key steering groups/boards at national, regional, county and district level and linking in with identified priorities and new legislative drivers.

Be a spokesperson for the services including participating in public speakingand media opportunities.

To ensure the highest quality of customer care and that comments and experiences are responded to and play a major part in service and practice development.

To risk assess potential cases around safeguarding and escalate as appropriate.

To manage the communication and engagement strategy for the widerservices as it develops as a first point of contact and help to manage and sustain relationships and address any potential barriers across a wide rangeof organisations.

To exercise control of budgets, managing them effectively through monitoringsystems, and making the best use of resources, staff, skills and finance.

Report any issues or risks that may threaten delivery of the service and make appropriate recommendations for mitigation activity.
