The VacancyAre you a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for ensuring homes and communities are safe, clean, and welcoming? Join us at NCHA as a Multi‑Site Services Officer and play a vital role in maintaining our properties and supporting our tenants, ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and upkeep of our properties, enhancing the quality of life for our tenants.
What You’ll DoPlease see the role profile for a more detailed overview of the responsibilities for the role. No day will be the same and could include the following:
- Repairs & Maintenance:
Diagnose and carry out basic repairs, decorative touch‑ups, and coordinate major repair works with contractors. - Health & Safety:
Conduct regular safety inspections, test communal systems, and report risks or faults. - Community Support:
Monitor communal areas, provide tenants with advice, and report anti‑social behaviour or issues like fly‑tipping. - Contractor Oversight:
Ensure cleaning and grounds maintenance contractors meet high standards and report any concerns. - Team
Collaboration:
Support colleagues during absences and attend tenant meetings when needed.
We’re looking for someone who knows their way around maintenance and repairs and is comfortable using the tools and equipment that come with the job. It’s important that you’ve got a good grasp of Health and Safety rules and have some background in caretaking or a similar role. Plus, you should be tech‑savvy enough to handle basic gadgets like iPads, smartphones, and emails for reporting.
Experience in keeping an eye on contractors’ work and giving them feedback is a big plus. And of course, you’ve got to be great at managing your time and sticking to procedures and instructions.
A valid UK manual driving licence will also be required for the role.

35 hours per week Mon - Fri.
Flexible working hours of 7 hours per day between 08:30 - 18:30.
