Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to join their growing technology team. This is a pivotal role where you’ll be working on complex, large-scale systems that demand reliability, scalability, and security. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, infrastructure specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver automation, streamline deployments, and enhance system performance across critical platforms.

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Manage and optimise Linux-based environments, ensuring stability and performance.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python and other relevant languages.
• Deploy, scale, and monitor containerised applications using Kubernetes.
• Work with AWS cloud services to architect and support resilient infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to ensure system health and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed Dev Ops best practices across the organisation.
• Contribute to security, compliance, and governance initiatives within a regulated environment.

• Strong background in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and tooling.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Cloud Formation, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or similar).
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code practices (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong grasp of networking fundamentals and cloud security principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively, solve complex problems, and drive continuous improvement.
