We are partnering with a high-growth B2B SaaS organisation (~£20m ARR) entering an exciting new scale phase. With a newly appointed CEO and a strong “people-first, move-fast” culture, the business is now strengthening operational leadership to support product maturity, platform scalability, and cost-efficient growth.

They are looking for a Head of Operations to lead Operational Excellence across Dev Ops, IT, Security and Platform Operations, with a strong emphasis on Fin Ops / Cost-to-Serve accountability and platform reliability at scale.

This is a pivotal, visible role reporting directly to the CTO.

You’ll shape the operational strategy and modernise how the platform is managed, driving reliability, observability, automation, and cost efficiency. You’ll manage the Head of Dev Ops and work closely with Product, Engineering and Finance to ensure the platform is secure, resilient, scalable and commercially efficient.

• Operations strategy across Dev Ops, IT, Security and Platform Operations
• Reliability, performance and availability of a cloud-native SaaS platform (AWS / serverless)
• Cost-to-Serve ownership and cloud cost visibility / optimisation
• Maturing observability, incident management & operational governance
• Uplifting Dev Ops engineering practices and platform automation, use of AI
• Vendor & outsourced IT partner management
• Supporting a high-change organisation scaling for enterprise success

• Senior leadership experience across Operations / Platform / Dev Ops
• Strong experience working in B2B SaaS environment
• Strong AWS knowledge and experience with modern delivery & automation practices
• Comfortable transforming systems, processes, and culture at pace
• Ability to balance innovation with stability, scale and cost discipline
• Clear communication and stakeholder leadership skills

Bonus but not required:

PE-backed scale-up experience, ISO
27001 leadership, DORA/ITIL familiarity.

• Benefits package + 4.5-day work week (paid for 37.5 hours)
• Hybrid: 2 days per week in either Manchester or Surrey
