Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Overview

A UK-based end user is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join their in-house team and take ownership of backend Marketing Cloud development. This is a fully remote role, offering the chance to work on meaningful, data-driven marketing solutions at scale.

If your strength is Automation Studio, Data Extensions, and backend logic, this role is built for you.

You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining robust Marketing Cloud solutions, focusing on data architecture, automations, and backend processes that power personalised customer journeys.

• Develop and maintain backend Marketing Cloud solutions
• Build and optimise Automation Studio workflows
• Design, manage, and optimise Data Extensions
• Work with SQL to support segmentation, data modelling, and automation
• Support integrations and data flows into Marketing Cloud
• Collaborate with CRM, data, and marketing teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Ensure best practice around data structure, performance, and security

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
• Strong backend focus with Automation Studio expertise
• Solid experience working with Data Extensions and SQL
• Experience supporting complex data models and automations
• Comfortable working in an end-user / in-house environment
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (preferred, not essential)
