You will work closely with the Operations Manager, bringing operational expertise, commercial awareness and people‑first leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Leading the strategic direction of all F&B operations across all outlets, ensuring seamless service and consistent guest satisfaction
- Mentoring, coaching and developing the F&B management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Driving commercial performance through effective cost control, forecasting, revenue optimisation and margin management
- Acting as the champion for guest feedback, responding promptly and professionally
- Managing stock, ordering, and inventory to ensure full readiness for service
- Recruiting, onboarding and coaching an exceptional F&B team
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and partners
- Managing departmental budgets, staffing levels and resources to support efficient and high‑quality operations
- Managing departmental payroll and scheduling to align with operational and budgetary goals
- Upholding The Imperial brand standards and helping bring the guest experience to life
- Proven leadership experience as an F&B Director, Assistant Director of F&B or Head of F&B and have ideally worked in a new opening hotel environment
- Passionate about delivering memorable hospitality experiences
- Able to build rapport with guests, colleagues, and teams
- Hands‑on, adaptable and calm under pressure
- A natural senior leader who develops talent and inspires confidence
- 28 days holiday, rising to 33 with length of service (including bank holidays)
- Access to ILH Training Academy programmes, apprenticeships and supported study
- Holiday Purchase Scheme
- Complimentary uniform dry‑cleaning, plus discounted personal dry‑cleaning
- Interest‑free Season Ticket Loan
- Team member flat rate and 50% friends and family hotel discount
- 50% discount across ILH F&B outlets
- Local Bloomsbury discounts
- Early Pay access
- Shopping discounts with selected retailers
- Salary sacrifice schemes including nursery care, cycle to work, and technology
- Access to mental health first‑aiders, wellbeing support and the Employee Assistance Programme
If you’re excited by the idea of redefining modern London hospitality and leading an F&B experience with real heart, we’d love to hear from you!
