Overview

Clinical Lead Nurse - Up to £57,400 (based on 48 hours per week). This role offers the chance to guide a dedicated team, deliver hands-on care, and mentor colleagues within a beautifully presented nursing home supporting older adults with residential, nursing, and dementia care needs. If you're an RGN with strong nursing home experience and a passion for developing others, this role blends clinical leadership and direct patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the clinical team to deliver safe, person-centred care.
  • Act as a mentor to nursing and care staff, encouraging professional growth.
  • Provide hands-on nursing support across the home when required.
  • Oversee care planning, risk management, and clinical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practice guidelines.
  • Work closely with residents, families, and external professionals.
  • Promote a positive, nurturing environment for older adults living with complex needs.
Qualifications
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in a nursing home environment.
  • Previous Senior Nurse, Deputy or Clinical Lead experience is welcome.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to high-quality care delivery.
