Overview

Prestigious Electronic Manufacturing and Monitoring Company, based in Leicester are looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Assistant to join them.

The position is to assist the Environment, Health & Safety Manager in ensuring the company meets its legal responsibilities and maintain effective Health & Safety systems.

• Assist the Environment, Health & Safety Manager in ensuring the company meets its legal responsibilities and maintains effective Health & Safety systems.
• Complete audits, write reports and keep accurate records.
• Maintain excellent communication, IT and administrative support to the team.
• Be flexible and willing to help other departments as part of the Environment, Health & Safety and Facilities department.
• Audit other sites within the company (a clean driving license and own transport are required).

• Excellent communication, IT and administrative skills, with a practical and "happy to assist" attitude.
• Ideally some previous experience with IOSH and NEBOSH certificates and knowledge of working within a manufacturing environment.
• If you are willing to learn and have the correct attitude, the company is very happy to train you.
• A clean driving license and your own transport is required for site audits.
