Registered Home Manager
Location:
Leicester
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
We are recruiting a Registered Home Manager for a small, well-established Learning Disability residential care home in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and compassionate leader to take full responsibility for a close-knit service that prides itself on person-centred care and positive outcomes.
The home supports a small number of adults with learning disabilities, offering a warm, stable environment where individuals are supported to live fulfilling and independent lives. As Registered Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead the service day to day while being fully supported to maintain high standards of care, compliance, and staff development.
The Role
The Registered Home Manager will be responsible for the overall operational, clinical, and regulatory management of the home, ensuring it remains fully compliant with CQC standards and delivers safe, high-quality care.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and developing a dedicated staff team
• Ensuring person-centred care plans are implemented and regularly reviewed
• Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding requirements
• Managing staffing, rotas, recruitment, supervision, and training
• Overseeing quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
• Managing budgets and resources effectively
About You
• Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within an LD or residential care setting
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding
• Confident leadership style with excellent communication skills
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
This role would suit a motivated and hands-on manager who enjoys working in a smaller service where they can truly make a difference.
