What you will do
  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments within the emergency department, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalised care plans for patients.
  • Support patients in regaining and maintaining their independence, utilising a variety of treatment techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
  • Offer guidance and support to less experienced colleagues to foster a learning environment.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in occupational therapy
  • Previous experience in an NHS emergency department
  • Driving licence and ability to commute reliably to the workplace
