Hours:

9am to 5pm

About the Role:

As an improvement manager, you will provide direct, hands-on support to individual practitioners across the Help and Protection and Corporate Parenting directorate

• Supporting practitioner needing additional help
• Helping to meet expected standards of the services
• Enhancing quality and consistency of assessments, plans and interventions
• Facilitating coaching and reflection dialogue to strengthen practice
• Monitoring and reviewing changes, offering further guidance to sustain improvement

• Education:
  
  Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
• Licenses:
  Social Work England registered
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3 years post qualified experience in direct employment with an English Local Authority

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong case management and problem-solving ability
• Resilience and empathy when working with complex cases
• Proactive team player who values safeguarding and empowerment
