Position: Management Accountant (Permanent, Contract)

Location | Nylacast Group, Thurmaston Boulevard, Leicester, LE4 9LN

Hours | Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with a daily 60-minute lunch break contracted to 37.5 hours per week, however flexibility within hours of work is required as business needs dictate.

Brief over of job role:

Responsibility for the monthly financial reporting of Nylacast legal entities. Providing crucial financial insights and analysis to support both day-to-day operations and longer-term strategic decision making. This will be a hands-on role and experience of Manufacturing & Engineering is essential.

Experience & Requirements:

Requirements for the Role:

· Recently Qualified CIMA or ACCA, looking for their first site reporting role.

· Manufacturing experience preferable, but not essential for the right candidate.

· Ability to work well with both managerial and operational staff

· Good understanding around KPI reporting and delivery

· Task focused and flexible approach to work

Main Duties (but not exhaustive):

· Production of and reporting on the Nylacast Engineered Products & Viva Nylons monthly accounts inc.

o Profit and loss reporting and variance to standards and budgets

o Balance sheet reconciliations

o Cash forecasting and control of OWC

· Weekly KPI reporting from the financial department

· Supporting of, and where required, the driving of continuous improvement on site

· Forecast and budget preparation and cross-functional co-ordination

· Support on year end audits including disclosure reporting

· Support an overall strong control environment for the Company

· Maintain a focus on and support of, Safety across the company

KPI’s:

· Produce a timely and accurate set of accounts for inclusion in Group reporting

· Creation and reporting on Customer and Product profitability

· Support of successful year end audit for the Group Company

· Delivery of the annual Budget to timetable

· Production of Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

· Positive feedback from the wider team showing active involvement in the business

· Compliance with company and statutory governance requirements for good accounting practices
