Working exclusively with Cherry, this is such a superb opportunity to join a business at a time of significant growth. A newly created role for a Senior Credit Controller to take a dept, it's team (2 + this role) and it's functionality from where it is to where it needs to be. The finance department is evolving to meet growing complexity with developing needs for improved operational control.

The business increased turnover from a steady £20 million to £27 million last year, with expectations to reach £33 million this year, through European expansion with plans to expand actively into Spain and the Netherlands alongside existing markets like Germany.

The role requires someone with strong credit process understanding to lead debt chasing, dispute resolution, and escalation (you'll be that escalation point) leading an established team of 2.

The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in credit control either currently in or has had exposure to roles of additional responsibility within a B2B credit management setting. You'll have excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. Confidence in using accounting systems (Sage 200 ideal but not a must) and Excel is essential, as is attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

You'll be relationship focused, internal and external with the ability to leverage results through strong relationship management.
