Process Engineer | Salary circa £45,000+ | 33 Days Holiday | Bonus | Early Friday Finish

A Process Engineer opportunity with a specialist manufacturing business based in Leicester, producing advanced raw materials used in high-performance engineering applications. With continued investment in production capability and operational improvement, the business is seeking a Process Engineer to drive efficiency, reduce waste and support scalable production growth. In return, the successful individual will receive a salary of circa £45,000, progression opportunities, bonus, early Friday finish and the chance to lead meaningful improvement projects across manufacturing operations.

Process Engineer responsibilities include
- * Leading continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency, yield and process reliability.

* Analysing process performance data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies, variation and cost reduction opportunities.

* Implementing Lean manufacturing tools including 5S, standard work and structured problem-solving.

* Leading root cause investigations into downtime, non-conformances and process deviations.

* Improving workflow, workstation design and material flow to optimise productivity.

* Supporting new product introduction and scale-up activities to maintain stable manufacturing processes.

Process Engineer desirable skills and experience
- * Experience as a Process Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer within a production environment.

* Strong understanding of continuous improvement and manufacturing process optimisation.

* Experience applying Lean tools such as Six Sigma, 5S or Kaizen.

* Experience working within ISO 9001 quality systems.
