As an Operations Engineer, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on installations throughout Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. You will ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and implementing reactive maintenance, and you will oversee and optimise operational processes of clients’ systems to increase productivity and reduce the use of excess time and materials.
Qualifications- Competent time‑served technician, preferably with a minimum of three years’ industrial mechanical and/or electrical experience
- Considerable skills and in‑depth knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines
- Excellent technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Effective IT skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office Packages
- At least an ONC, NVQ Level II or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, motor vehicle studies or equivalent
- A full, valid driving licence
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. This role involves weekend work and possible out‑of‑hours work, including a 24‑hour callout programme based on a rota system.
