Maintenance Technician

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and innovative Maintenance Day Technician with Mechanical background to join University Hospitals of Leicester. The core duty of the role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance task to a high standard that is commensurate with the skills and experience for the role, to ensure the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of environmental engineering plant, equipment and other engineering systems including;domestic

water systems, ventilation systems, heating,equipment; diagnosis and repair of faults including mechanical,control systems., The post holder will be expected to act on their own initiative, in aleadership role supporting the Estates Supervisor and Maintenance Managers in the day to day management of the service and assisting with the management of contractors. The core duty of the role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance task to a high standard that is commensurate withthe skills and experience for the role, to ensure the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of environmental engineering plant, equipment and other engineering systems including;domestic

water systems, ventilation systems, heating,equipment; diagnosis and repair of faults including mechanical,control systems. Responsible for calibration and fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment including domestic water systems, heating, and ventilation
