Commissioning Engineer, Power Systems – Whetstone

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated track‑record in HV/LV plant and systems commissioning.
• Familiarity with IEC standards and Marine Classification.
• Customer‑oriented focus.

• Carry out switching operations and related permit‑to‑work, sanction to test, and access limitation systems on large‑scale projects.
• Produce and maintain standard documentation.
• Check and install all cabling, switchboards, circuit breakers, contractors, transformers, UPS batteries/systems, generators, motors, and variable speed drives.
• Commission and fully integrate switch gear, service, and fault‑find equipment.
• Commission PC/PLC related protection and power management systems and associated software.
• Create commissioned documentation in accordance with independently audited Company Quality and Safety Management Systems (e.g., BS EN 18001) and Classification Societies (e.g., Lloyds Register, DNV).
• Maintain electrical site infrastructure and power system equipment.
• Continue competence through training courses and electronic learning in line with company policies.
